Watched a very interesting movie in Video Production today.

Home.
Where do you feel at home?
Like it or not, everyone always runs away from Reality.
We dare not accept the fact of what some things are.

We go around looking for our purpose in Life.
Why are we here?
What am I for?
Do I belong anywhere?
Where's my "Home"?

From this, we seek shelter in others or even places.
To run away from the fact that we are indeed, Lost.
We set our minds to think that where we are is where we belong.
Not even daring to take a step out to see where we truly are supposed to be.

Along the way, you'll find people who share what you feel.
You seek refuge with them and somehow, someway, you feel them.
Finding one's self is more important than finding one's need.

Indeed it is difficult to find the right way to the right Home.
Being Lost is part of it.
Allow yourself to make mistakes to be able to Create something.
Allow yourself to be free.
Free of constraints.
Free of any Vines you are caught up in.

Lesson:
Everyone has their place in Society.
Everyone has their place to feel at Home.
Reach out with an open Heart.

One uncle at my tagboard suruh update, so i update la!

A little inspiration given earlier from Theresa.
Won't reveal what she said about her future plans here.
But I'm glad I have gotten the opportunity and blessing of getting to know her.
Giving opportunities no other choreographers would give me.
That is to teach dance.

Every ounce of her energy she gives, is inspirational.
To the naked eye, you might not see it but you can feel the passion she brings.
Reminding me to keep doing what I love, and do what I Love to do with alot of Passion and Determination.
That's when success will arrive.
Success not in terms of Finances, but personality wise.
Always be humble.
Remember your Roots and where you began.

I'll always remember where I began, and the Humble beginnings I came from.
Through all the struggles that got me here.
& still Climbing Strong.

Finding Inspiration in people along the way and Inspiring others.
That's how beautiful things can be.
Doing what you Love, and getting good things in Return.
A smile, an applause, a pat on the back or even a compliment.

I somehow find this true.

Everyone perceives Life differently. Be it Positively or Negatively.
Whatever it is, we can't remove that individuality that is within everyone.
Maybe that's what makes Life interesting?

Through the struggles and hurdles that every human faces, there is definitely a reason behind it.
All I can say is, look up.
Cause hope is always present.
Unless you yourself say there isn't.

What you say is what you get.
Instead of the cliche' "What you see is what you get".

Lets just all Hope that we're in a Movie with a Happy Ending.

A New Year to begin with.

Goodbye to 2009,
Hello 2010.

Gonna make a difference this year. In any aspect of Life that I will tackle.
School, Dance etc.

I will be a better designer and dancer.
Its good that things like new year's come around.
Its the time where everyone unconsciously reflect on what they have done
for the year and see where they can do better or learn from.
Mistakes happen and they're meant to be learnt from.
Regretting will not do any good.

Just accept the face that everyone makes mistake.

Changes is another major aspect in the new year.
Change for almost anything.
Good to Bad?
Bad to Good?
You decide at the end of the year.

There are things I'll definitely hold on to from 2009.
To remind me of what good from bad.
Memorable year 2009 is.

There's just so much to think about right now.
& woah!
I'm 18 this year.
Might not be a big deal to some.
But to me it is.
18.....
Young Adult.
Responsibilities.

Sometimes I feel that I'm too busy with my own Life that I'm not able to make way for some other things.
Little but important thing.

My lil' brothers.
The ones that keep me up and remind me why Life is beautiful.
There might be fights, but brothers are brothers.
We fight but we make up in the end.

They are one of the things I prioritise.

Like I said, so many things to let out.

Things have definitely changed.
The motivation to go further has been depleting.

A lot of self centered minds and wandering souls.
Forgetting that one common purpose and goal.
Ripped apart by jealousy and hatred.

But what for?
I really hope they wake up.
The World revolves around no one.

Its frustrating and depressing when its hard to even take a step forward.
When you know so much can be done but only 10-20% of it is produced.
Excuses don't change anything.
It justifies but it doesn't change the fact of what happened.

I'm nowhere near perfect.
I know that.
But I reflect before I say things.
Why can't others do the same?
& drop all that ego.
What do you have to lose by simply letting things be? ...

Lets leave this out.

On a positive note..

Today's training with Bryan, Sulaiman, Jovin, Shikin, Louis, Theresa & Kai from O School and also John and Josh from Urban Terrain Groovers was hella crazy and fun!
Guess what? We have a performance tmrw and we started training only today!
Haha!

Damn! 6 hours of sweat and pain.
Learning a full 6 minutes routine in one day!
But it sure was fun getting to know those dudes from UTG.
Love Crew represent! hahahh xD
& guys! I'm loving the b-boy routine :)
Nvm if its short.
Haha! that part "full-time" sia xDDDD

I'm glad that the routine wasn't really an all out dance showcase.
Just simple steps to show some things.
We'll be performing tmrw for the APEC reception.

Tmrw gotta be at the studio by 10am.

I think I should make a proper update now. Hehe!

Lots of things happened in the past few weeks.

Dance Xplosion.
Fad Faction didn't get through to the Finals.
In a way we expected it.
We kinda screwed up in our co-ordination and sync.
But hey, that's what mistakes are for.
To learn from and be much better.
Thank you to all that came to support Faddies during the competition:)
& Congrats to E-Merged, Dirty & Funky Nutz for getting the top 3 Placings :)

Up next will be the H-Two-O competition.
Time to keep it tight.
After observing different performances out there, I realise its not about how wow your choreography is.
Whats the point of making it extremely wow when your crew members can't keep up right?

Lesson:
Keep things simple while not forgetting the flow.
Simple moves are easier to co-ordinate and sync.

Formation changes is another weakness of ours.
I recently watched Seven Crew's and IYHAYKICYH's video, and their formation changes are smooth.
They dance to the formation instead of waking or running to it.

Lesson:
Transition need not be big.
Small changes will seem big.
Flow the steps with movements to make formation changes.

Lots more that I've learnt.

But most importantly, Keep It Tight.
Move as a Crew and not an individual.

On stage, Fad Faction should be noticed.
Not and individual.

Will keep working hard.

Caught Astro Boy with Amalina, Airiee and Nabilah yesterday.

Honestly, it was way better than I expected it to be!
Really a heartfelt movie with a few lessons learnt.

& most importantly, Accept WHO you are.

Adapt to everyone and everything around you.
Give a positive spin to everything that happens.

I felt as if a huge load has been removed off my shoulders.

School has been getting more and more stressful.
I mean really stressful.
Been sleeping really late everyday.
3am-4am.

& its gonna get even later once ISP starts.
But hey, that's a Life of a Designer.
No time for rest.
Just keep on working.
I will plan my time for ISP properly.
Not like how I have been for my first 12 weeks.

I believe the first 12 weeks was a way for us to get used to the school's way of doing things.
We are bound to make mistakes from this first 12 weeks.
From time management to discipline and all sorts.

Change is needed in the next Term that is to come.
Better yet, ISP.

Yesterday, I met Baby after I had my briefing for ISP :)

Honestly, I had a really great time with Baby :)

There was no school today but I had to go as I had to hand in my Assignment.

Supposed to meet Nizam at 10am but instead, I arrived at 11am :p

Due to "Late Nights, Early Mornings", I woke up abit late :p :)

After handing in our assignment at 12pm, chilled at the canteen with a whole bunch of people xD
I swear we laughed alot! XD

I laughed till I started to tear and my stomache hurting!

Then at 1pm, everyone left school.
Split ways at Bugis. Everyone went to different locations to do their Photography assignment.

I went to City Hall alone.
Plus, I was meeting Seri [:
She tagged along today! [:

Waited for her at Esplanade but she couldn't come there cause of the whole F1 thingy and places were being blocked and stuff. Haha.
She got frustrated :P
So I had to walk to Marina Square to meet her (see, gentleman right?) Hahah!

Met her there and we went to a few shops.
She was looking for something to get for her bro [:
In the end, she is just too confused to get anything xD

Went to MacDonald's & we just chilled and talked about a lot of stuff.

I didn't know what song it was but the first line struck me and got me thinking.

"Tiada Manusia Dilahir Sempurna"

& I agree with it.

Think about it.
Its true.
Nobody is born perfect. Everyone has their own flaws.
Something that sets them apart from everyone else.
Be it good or bad.
Its our differences that makes us unique.

Being perfect doesn't mean it will bring you everything that you need.
Your imperfections are what sets you apart and makes you noticed.

Don't be sad over your imperfections.
Be glad that you have them.

Its the littlest things that matters :)

So why was it so awesome?

Here's how my day went [:

Morning went to school as per normal.

Reached on time.

The 3 hours class was great [:

Got my work done! =D

Had a lot of laughs as usual!

Haha, after class ended at 12pm,

Me, Nizam, Ben, Theresha Melvin and Marcus hung out around school.

Ben and Marcus were talking photos for photography assignment.

Soon, we decided to explore Iluma =D

Actually me, Melvin and Theresha planned to just chill at the Coffee Beans at Iluma.

I wanted to find a wireless connection for my lappy.

But sadly (of all places!), Iluma does NOT have a wireless connection 0_0

Haha.

Melvin, Nizam and Ben caught up with us soon after and we went to the top floors of Iluma.

Going in to a few shops.

There was one shop with this Chicken thingy.

If you squeeze it, it'll make this irritating chicken sound xD

Ben was like soooo enjoying that thing !!! XDDD HAHAHA xD

He kept on squeezing the thing xDD

We then passed by this Ice Cream shop. and omg!!!

I'm so gonna get one next week =DDDD

It made me tear and reminded me of something.

If you think you're having problems, think again.

Others are in a situation that are worse off than yours.

You wanna get the latest tech gadget cause yours is not up to date.

Some don't even have the money to buy them.

You wanna go shopping cause you "don't have much clothes to choose from".

Think.

Some wear the same clothes for days or even weeks.

You don't like to eat this food because you prefer something else.

Think.

Some have to share a plate of rice with 4 people.

Think.

Most of us are fortunate to have a roof above our heads;

Food to eat;

Tonnes of clothes to wear;

A bed to sleep on;

Money to splurge.

Think of those who don't have them.

Appreciate what you have.

I'm glad I've been through that situation before.

I learn to appreciate through what I've been through.

Though things are not stable.

I appreciate the Life that I'm given.

School was a total drag today.

Basically, I was tired.

I was like a Zombie today xD

First hour of the lesson I was out of ideas.

Didn't know what to draw.

Then the remaining 2 hours, started drawing.

So I took 3 hours to complete 3 drawings today.

After class, went to Library with Nizam, Marcus, Melvin, Theresha, Jamayne, Tiffany and...... a few other people.

Haha!

We went to watch movie there.

We watched "One Leg Kicking".

Its a freaking old movie.

Brought back a lot of memories about the good old times =D

Yesterday Me & Sulaiman got through to the next round of Suntec Dance.

From tonnes of Soloists that joined the competition,

its down to only 20 in the Semi Finals.

Its getting narrower and definitely tougher.

Rest assured, Me and Man will work extremely hard to get where we want to.

Fad Faction Represent.

This is a test for ourselves.

For how far we have come.

This is something we really want.

For me, I had to stay on the sidelines for an entire year.

Watching all the Dancers strut their stuff.

Due to my 'O' levels.

All I can do is watch.

So I did.

Observed how things were.

& took notice of what was needed.

Suntec Dance was one of the events that I was really aiming for as a soloist.

This year I got the chance.

Me and Sulaiman got through the Suntec Dance Auditions :)
It was a tough competition.
Really it was.
But we manage to get to the next round :)

But honestly, today wasn't my best Effort.
It was rather slack.

Will step it up waaaaay Higher for Heats :)

& woot woot! Love came :)
But came late. boo!
She missed my performance.
Haha!

Then sat down with her and the rest to watch the rest of the Competition.

Lol xD

After the results and debriefing, went to the Rooftop Terrace at Esplanade with them.
Planned something for her.
Its her very own Appreciation Day :)
Yup.
I said it.
Appreciation Day for her (:
She was basically at a lost of words.
Haha.

She had to go off.
So, went to have dinner with the rest.

Eateateat, and went off at 9pm.
